Meeting with a dietician
November 9th, 2011 a meeting with a dietician was held. Our parents and teachers could listen about healthy nutrition. They could also asked the questions about healthy eating, healthy meals served in our canteen as well as products that children can buy in our school shop with healthy food.

Organic Garden
Our students have planted some vegetables like cucumbers, beans, radishes, carrots etc. The garden is situated near school, therefore, students can go, water and care of vegetables every day.

Meeting in Italy - Palermo
The workshop "For a Life without Junk Food" took place 16-20 May 2011 in Palermo (ITALY).
During the meeting the following activities were carried out:
1. Sharing students' works and products.
2. Preparing the complementary questionnaire.
3. Exchanging Comenius T-shirts.

Small pupils planted herbs and spices in plant pots in their classes.
Later, they used them to prepare healthy sandwiches, salads and other dishes.Experiments
During extra-curricular activities students in grades 4-6 performed experiments to detect nutrients: proteins, sugars and fats in food.
Contest
Contest for designing a Comenius T-shirt.
Lots of students took part in the contest. All projects were very interesting, nevertheless we were forced to choose only 5 designs.Meeting in Romania
April 11-16, 2011 delegation of teachers from our school participated in a meeting of all partners involved in the project "For a Life without Junk Food" which was held in Romania. We were guests in the Primary School in Popesti. Students and teachers greeted us very warmly - we visited the school, but also participated in some lessons.
Our COMENIUS team
Every week in our school there are COMENIUS team meetings. The children can talk online about healthy nutrition with students from Turkey, Romania, Italy and Bulgaria.

Questionnaire - food habits
The Questionnaire - food habits was conducted among 56 students from 4-6 class.
CONCLUSIONS:
1) encourage students to more frequent consumption of fruit and vegetables instead of sweets
2) students are aware that some products are healthier than others, but do not always make the right choice of meals and snacks
3) familiarize students with the components of food products and how they affect the human body
4) promote the idea of eating a healthy breakfast among students
5) educate students to the negative impact of "fast food" on the human bodyLogo contest
